GOLD PRICE at the SEOUL INTERNATIONAL AI FILM FESTIVAL 2025. When I was at the Independent Days Festival in Karlsruhe, where I didn’t win, I couldn’t fly to Korea for the SIAFF festival because the galas were almost at the same time. One day later, after the Independent Days, I heard from Korea that I had won the ‘Gold prize trophy’ for ‘Transformation’ for BEST AI FILM 2025 at the annual Seoul International AI Film Festival (SIAFF) in the Republic of South Korea. My trophy finally arrived from Korea this week. It’s the 9th award for my science fiction film. There were 2,000 entries in total and maybe next year I will make it to the HETE Complex Cultural Space in Seoul, where I was invited to the gala. I am all the more delighted to receive this important heavy marble award at one of the world’s leading AI festivals. I would like to thank the wonderful festival president Yaeyong Choi, the jury presidents Sungju Lim and Keonpyo Hong, the sponsors of Seoul and the many employees of the ai film festival, who did a good job for the gala.
