At the Phoenix Shorts in Richmond Hill, Canada I was honoured with the award for BEST ORIGINAL SCORE for Philip Brenke’s claustrophobic thriller “Forgiveness, Ten Years Without Spring”. First of all, I would like to thank my director Philip for the exciting and inspiring collaboration and for choosing a very electronic and dark score. I would like to thank Caroline Eichhorn & Marius Ahrendt, the actors who created such an oppressive situation, who supported me a lot in my musical realisations. The soundtrack was placed on more than 230 playlists in 2023, especially the track FIELDS! I would like to thank the festival’s Director Manager Sophy Demon, Operation Director Carla Smith, the jury of the Phoenix Cultural Centre under the direction of J.D Kamran and the organisers of the PCC. I hope everyone has a great gala at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts on 6 February.
